Little World

Little World
One unique thing in Japan that I haven't seen elsewhere are the several outdoor museums where historical buildings and artifacts are collected and grouped in a natural setting. You would expect that such a collection might be dry and boring, but they are surprisingly interesting, partly because they put so much effort into them.

This one is unique among them as it is a global collection of homes from many different cultures, with examples of dress, customs, and food to go with them.

Little World is outside Inuyama, which itself is close to Nagoya. (Note the address: Imai Narusawa 90-48, Inuyama, 484-0005 😮😏)
Note also that there is another open air museum that we have visited there in Inuyama, the Meiji-Mura Museum of architecture of the Meiji Period.

You may recall from a previous share that that museum includes buildings from Hilo and Seattle (the Meiji Period is when Japan opened itself to the world).

And in the comments there, it was pointed out that there is a monkey park in the area too.

I enjoyed stopping in Inuyama, and these other attractions give several choices of things to do.
