Hang Ups
Experience has taught us that one essential thing to pack for a trip is as many tubular plastic hangers as you can easily fit. Even better than those lightweight hangers is this hanging frame, which can dry a bunch of clothes in a small space. In our hands, they work a lot better than elastic or cord drying lines. They are bulkier than hangers, so probably not something you want to try to fit into your suitcase. Once in Japan, though, they can be bought pretty cheaply at a Daiso or Muji kind of store.
This is in an Airbnb apartment where one was already there, and we added another one. They can be useful even in a hotel.
What has been your experience and best tips?
