for some abura soba
before heading to the airport
for the long flight home.

I thought the bibs they provided were a nice touch. Every time I see (and hear) people inhaling their ramen, I imagine all the oily droplets that have to be flinging off the noodles. And these were essentially soupless noodles, so it would seem that there would be less spatter? Of course, I'm not sure, but I think we gaijin amateurs were maybe the only ones there wearing them?
