Loople Sendai

Loople Sendai
As do other cities, Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture has a touring loop bus that runs every 15 to 20 minutes over a 70 minute loop around the city.
We took the single fair ride, and it was a nice overall view of the city. There is a one-day Loople pass, and also a one-day Loople + subway pass. The loop starts and ends at Sendai Station.

At the time we rode the loop, we were glad we didn't use it as a hop on hop off transportation, as the lines to reboard the bus were very long, and only a few people could reboard as it is a small bus and few people get off.

  1. Cities in Asia commonly use river beds for recreation fields, park space, and walk/ride pathways. For some reason, these groups had gathered in the rocky river bed -- not sure if they were picnicking or perhaps doing something else?
    Any ideas?
