Hiragana For Everything
I've mentioned before the trend of using hiragana instead of kanji and katakana.
By the usual convention, here Hakodate would be written in kanji, and wine in katakana.
But here, they write everything in hiragana as a trendy sign, or logo?
I kind of like it as it makes it easier to sound out the word, and is easier to read. Katakana is actually an older written language form (derived from kanji) than hiragana. Hiragana is easier to write and read. At least it is to me.
