Inuyama
Although not on anyone's top 10 lists for places to visit in Japan, Inuyama has several attractions that might be worth a visit depending on your interests. If you are interested in history, architecture, world cultures, a castle, cormorant fishing, or monkey park, you should check it out.
Not far outside Nagoya, it is midway between Kyoto and the Mt. Fuji area.

St. Xavier Cathedral is a Gothic style church built in 1890 at Kawara-machi Sanjyo, Kyoto City to commemorate the Jesuit missionary Francisco Xavier who spread Christianity in Japan. It was moved to Meji-mura, Inuyama City, Aichi Pref.

聖ザビエル天主堂は、日本にキリスト教を伝えたイエズス会宣教師フランシスコ・ザビエルを記念して1890年に京都は河原町三条に建設されたゴジック様式の教会堂です。現在は愛知県の明治村に移築されています。
